How to build learning programs that your executives will love and have a bigger impact on your organization.
With multiple change initiatives, critical program launches and an imperative to engage and retain employees, today’s Learning and Development professionals are challenged to ensure their training programs have a clear and demonstrated impact on company performance.
Yet so many of us are still faced with tackling a laundry list of development needs and urgent deliverables, operating strategically can often be an afterthought.
This workshop will introduce principles of strategic analysis, strategic thinking and strategy creation to build a Learning Strategy so that instructors, instructional designers and department leaders ensure their learning programs are strategically aligned with company objectives and stakeholder agendas.
Participants will learn ways to develop a strategic approach to learning:
- Ensure training plans are viewed as a strategic tool that helps achieve company goals
- Leverage change theory to build support and adoption while the training project is underway
- Build executive support for the training initiative, ensuring it gets proper funding and resources
- Connect learning strategy to course development to ensure training programs achieve strategic goals
Participants will also receive handouts, templates and frameworks that they can use to quickly apply these key concepts to their own projects.
