Communities of Practice
ATD-GTC is a chapter of the National Association for Talent Development (ATD), organization. We have more than 200+ members in Minnesota, including Talent, Development, Training, Learning, and Coaching professionals.
By fostering a learning culture, we aim to empower talent development professionals to make a transformative impact on their organizations and beyond, ensuring that continuous growth and development are woven into the fabric of every endeavor.
Transforming Learning
The ATD Transforming Learning series captures success stories from Learning & Development leaders who have created, refined and re-imagined the learning & development programming in their businesses.
We capture business cases that help us all learn how the traditional role of trainers, business partners, facilitators and coaches need to evolve to expand the people we serve. In this series, we look to share real-life examples from leaders who have found a path to success and can speak to the overall ROI from these changes. All in the hopes that we are all learning from each other in a community to develop our human potential.
New & Prospective Member Meetings
For our new and prospective members, we host a monthly new and prospective member welcome event. This is a welcome and orientation to our chapter, where we do introductions and showcase everything our local chapter offers. We invite new and prospective members to spend an hour with us to learn about our various communities of practice, all upcoming events, and showcase ways to get engaged so that you can get involved, meet other practitioners, and experience the joy of learning with ATD-GTC!
We also host small, informal member coffee conversations to learn more about how our members feel about our local chapter, get feedback on what is working, and identify areas where we can improve or enhance the experience for our members.
