Tammy Krings, CEO, Master Certified Leadership Coach, The Conversations That Matter

Tammy has been studying people all her life. With an early curiosity for human dynamics, she has built a business helping leaders and teams experience workplace transformation. She has created programs for sustainable change that match the business’s greatest growth needs. Tammy accelerates the learningand connection with everyone in her programs. Tammy had the great fortune of working for Inscape Publishing (now Wiley) training thousands of business owners and leaders how to integrate Everything DiSC into their L & D programs.  She is intimately familiar with the depths of the tool and how it can truly help teams see each other in a new, more meaningful way.

Ava Goepfert, Sr Facilitator & Leadership Coach 

Ava connects theory to application and brings the people dynamic alive during her workshops and coaching sessions. She’s led dozens of teams of all sizes from first-line employees to executive teams through both virtual and in-person facilitations that get to the heart of what matters most. Her focus on uncovering what’s holding each of us back as leaders, teams, and organizations has helped dozens of companies ensure they are making space to honor both relationships and results. Her classroom experience as a college instructor and as a certified Narrative Coach Practitioner means she can bring the research and the powerful questions to address the toughest people problems in business. 

The Conversations That Matter, based in Minneapolis, is the expert in developing healthy leaders who transform teams and create thriving workplaces. TCTM specializes in custom team workshops, leadership development programs, and executive coaching.

We all know feedback matters, but most organizations still struggle to make it part of everyday behavior.

Whether you’re new to L&D or bring years of experience, this interactive session is designed to be a welcoming, inclusive space to connect, share insights and learn from one another. Together, we’ll explore essential ways L&D can strengthen feedback across the organization:

  • Equipping leaders with the skills and models to give meaningful feedback
  • Creating learning experiences that deliver powerful, actionable feedback

Meet Our Co-Hosts:

Kaydra Weigel, MEd is a Learning Solutions Business Partner at Life Time. She has a diverse array of facilitation and instructional design experience that ranges from education to talent development. In her current role, she develops performance-based learning experiences, partners with cross-functional teams to support organizational development, and recommends and designs targeted learning solutions to address performance challenges. Additionally, she has presented at IUPUI’s Assessment Institute, an event focused on assessment and improvement, and at ATD-GTC’s Unlearning to Drive Change Vision event.

Mary Armstrong is a Verified ATD Master™ Instructional Designer at Aveda Corporation. Her previous 20-year career in journalism included staff jobs at the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Minnesota Public Radio and The New York Times. She is the secretary of the board for Wilson’s Image College Scholarship, a nonprofit benefiting African-American scholars from North Minneapolis, and a volunteer for the Association for Talent Development–Greater Twin Cities. Mary has journalism and political science degrees from Indiana University and a graduate certificate in instructional design and technology from Florida State University.
