Lunds & Byerlys will share their journey to create a unique and transformative orientation experience that instills the mission, vision, and values of a 3rd generation family-owned company in each and every new team member including identifying the core need, establishing funding and operational support, developing the experience, and measuring results. During the second half of the session, you’ll apply your insights and inspiration and begin to outline what onboarding and orientation could look like at your organization. Light refreshments will be provided. We welcome you to stick around, grab lunch from our revamped deli hot and salad bar offerings, and engage in networking or extended workshop application.
Meet the Presenters:
Meredith Heerey is the Director of Employee Experience at Lunds & Byerlys, overseeing Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Relations. She is passionate about aligning people strategies with business objectives to drive success and profitability. Meredith thrives on collaboration, working closely with leaders across the organization to develop and implement innovative solutions that elevate both the employee experience and overall business performance. With a keen ability to translate strategy into action, she plays a pivotal role in fostering a culture of growth and engagement. Beyond her professional expertise, Meredith is a world traveler, devoted foodie, and lifelong learner, always seeking new experiences and knowledge to inspire her both personally and professionally.
Alyssa Warne (she/her) leads the Learning & Development team at Lunds & Byerlys designing and developing learner-centric, experiential solutions that support team members at every level of the organization and deliver on the mission to create sensational shopping and working experiences for a lifetime. She combines her passion for learning, language, food and culture to support strategic initiatives through a creative, empathetic and inclusive approach. Alyssa also enjoys traveling, cooking, live music, and hanging out with her husband and dogs.
